Got this bad boy just last year, bought it 2nd hand from a common friend. The issue is, I noticed a leak and from the looks of it its coming from the shock remote reservoir. It's got about 250 miles on her more or less, its done its fair amout of work from home from carrying a bunch of different woods, snow plowing and some off road play. Warranty is out of the picture, whats my best play here? How unsafe is it to drive it on this condition? Got no choice since its the only one I have to help me with my work.

Your best move is to inspect for cracks or wear and if parts are beyond repair, consider an aftermarket rebuild kit or contact a suspension specialist. How's the fluid level holding up, are you topping it off frequently to keep things steady?

Tough spot. Is the leak minor or are you losing a lot of fluid fast? You might get by topping it off short-term, but have you checked if the reservoir can be rebuilt?

Yeah thought the same thing too. Guess I got no choice but to really find a way first to fix things, might just call an expert to help me. Yeah I got the fluids covered for now.

I dont think its minor no more. Honestly, I got no idea, my mind is just cloudy these past days. I gotta bring it to the local mechanic asap.

Can't say I've never driven hundreds of miles on a leakiy shock, but I agree with this. It's not particularly safe and the ride is sketchy AF. If you're sure it's the shock, replace it or take it to a mechanic to confirm
