I'm thinking of adding a folding windshield to my Wolverine for better airflow and weather flexibility, looking for opinions on it, like does it rattle, hold up on rough trails, and is it really worth it?
would really love to hear thoughts and opinions

Folding windshields on Wolverines are usually great! the good ones shouldn't rattle much on bumpy rides. look for strong plastic and check reviews for your Wolverine model. Hope this helps!

I had a folding windshield on my old rig, and let me tell you, it was like a love-hate relationship. On smooth trails, it was perfect, had great airflow and zero ratling. But on bumpy ones? It felt like I was driving a tambourine! 😂

The thing would rattle so much, I half expected to find a full-on musical ensemble by the time I got home. So make sure you're getting one with solid latches or reinforcements for the rough stuff...

sure, I've saw people use it before in their wolverine. it's just that, a folding windshield isn't robust enough and it costs more than a fixed windshield

A folding windshield is okay I guess but do you live in a safe location? I heard some people complaining that theirs has been stolen or something so they opted for a fixed one.

Folding windshields are awesome for airflow and handling differen weather. I've used one on mine, and it held up well on bumpy trails with just a little rattle if it's mounted securley. They're totally worth it for the flexibility.

If you go with a polycarbonate (Lexan) windshield with a hard coating, it'll hold up to a lot of abuse (branches, rocks, mud). It's way tougher than acrylic. Just make sure it's thick enough, like 1/4 inch
