tire and wheel hunt for wolverine X2 XTR is a struggle!

My husband's been on the hunt for a new set of 28" DOT tires and wheels for his yamaha wolverine X2 XTR, and it's been a total bust so far.

He had his heart set on some STI HD9 beadlocks, but found out that they actually discontinued that model because not enough people were buying them

so, he decided to just swap the tires and wheels from his X1 (Gen 1) onto the X2. He says it's made a huge difference for the X2.

Now the X2 uses the 27" Sedona Storm wheels and Sedona Rip Saw tires from the X1

He's still wants that perfect 28" setup for the X2, I'm hoping to find it so I can give it to him for his birthday (it's next month)
any recommendations would be awesome!

Switching those wheels and tires sounds like a plan! Finding a good 28" DOT setup for the Wolverine X2 can be tricky since some, like the STI HD 9, aren't made anymore. Sedona, ITP, or MSA might have some wheels and tires that fit right and can handle off-roading. Does he care more about how long they last, how well they work, or just how they look? Knowing that will help find the best fit

For him, it's definitely a mix. Performance is probably number one, especially for off roading. He wants something that really handles well in different terrains.
Longevity is a close second. so, he puts a lot of miles on it, so something durable is key.
Looks may be important too, but not the first thing he'll see. He wants it to look good, but not at the expense of performance or durability.
Thanks for the suggestions on Sedona, ITP, and MSA, I'll definitely check those out! Just trying to find that perfect 28" setup before his birthday!
