Upgrade but trailer width issues

I work as an outdoor guide and a newbie wildlife photographer.. I rely on my 2019 Yamaha X2 R-Spec to get me to some pretty remote spots.
Im looking to upgrade my stock tires for something with better grip and durability for the rocky trails around here.
Thing is.. I only got about 1/2" clearance on each side as it sits now.. I'm willing to push it down to 1/4" if needed.
Im hoping to find a 2" lift kit but I haven't been successful..
Im considering 26x9 / 26x11 or 27x9 / 27x11 tires but I have no idea if this will work.
Has anyone here done a similar upgrade with a 2019 Wolverine X2??
Could you please post the actual overall width of the tire at its widest point, along with the tire model and other relevant details?

A 2" lift will definitely work for 27x9 / 27x11 tires. With that, you'll get the clearance you need for rocky trails. 26x9 / 26x11 could fit too, but the 27s will give you better traction.

Hmm, 2" lift kits are available on Amazon, aren't they. Do check those out. I know lots are running on 26x9/11 or 27x9/11 but yeah the clearance is tight. You may also check with High Lifter or SATV for the spacers.

seeing how tight your fit is, definitely don't go for those 27"tires without a lift. Seriously, you'll probably end up rubbing everywhere. Even some 26" can be wider than what they say on the sidewall

I've got a Wolverine X2 as well, I chose the 27x9/27x11 Kenda Bear Claws and added a 2" PERFEX lift. It clears nicely, with about 1/4" to spare when fully flexed. By the way, Powertach makes a really sturdy plow with a float feature. If you're concerned about clearance, make sure you measure the tire section width when it's mounted, not just the specs.

AGREE. A lift kit comes with that tight fit. You have to be really careful so as to not damage your Wolverine. Nothing works fine with a tight fit.
