Interior light

My Wolverine X4 850 didn't came with any lights, especially interior ones, if you can call them that. With that in mind, what are my options? I'm not looking for chandeliers, decreet leds or something similar. If this even doable?

Yes, adding discreet interior lights is absolutely doable! you can try those LED strips, these can be stuck or screwed in hidden spots, like under the dash, along the roll cage tubes, or even under the seats!

YESSS, it's doable. There's a LED strip under my dash wired to a rocker switch and it's all good. You're gonna love it.

In case you're also considering footwell light kits and dome lights, try checking Baja Designs, KC HiLiTES, Super ATV and Everything Yamaha Offroad!

@Ultra_W71 Good call on Super ATV, I grabbed a footwell kit from them and it was a breeze to wire up. Clean look, no overkill.

@awkward turtle Those roll cage LED strips are a smart move. I stuck mine just above the doors and they're perfect for night rides.

Well, it's not a Lexus, so I think I'll skip the footwell lights. Thanks for the tips though!

Haven't though of an LED strip and I think I like the idea. Now on to the next question. Let's say I install everything tonight, how to wire it? Leave it on all the times or add a switch or maybe a sensor for when it gets dark?

Good call on the LED strip! They're low profile and you can tuck them up under the dash or along the roll cage. You can get waterproof strips pretty cheap online. I suggest you get a simple rocker switch and mount in the dash for wiring. I expect you wouldn't want the lights on all the time since that can drain your battery. Just find an accessory power wire, connect the light strip, and you're good to go!
