Radio static when pod lights are on

I got my SSV radio in and it works awesome until I switch on the hood pod lights. Then I get this buzz of static through the speakers. I've tried rerouting wires, relocating the antenna, even wiring the pods straight to the battery, it still no luck

That's a classic electromagnetic interference issue. What kind of pod lights are you running and what's the amperage draw? LED pods can generate electrical noise that interferes with radio signals, particularly if they're not properly filtered.
